What to Make of Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

Tab Trade — The Short Version

TabTrade launched in Q1 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a New Zealand-regulated broker.

That last detail is relevant. It means the founder has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. But more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.

The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.

What you can trade: forex, stock indices, metals, commodities, equities, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a broker that is a few months old, that coverage is not narrow.

The Software

Available: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from the same login. Many only give you one or the other. Access to both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.

MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, automated trading, huge user base. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for automated strategies but needs the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView is said to be on the roadmap. That should make the platform set when it lands.

What You Pay

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. $0 to start. Suits beginners.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your real cost can be under half a pip. That is hard to beat for an offshore broker. Most brokers that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade does not.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not relevant to the average person. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.

Infrastructure

This is the area where this broker actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers operate at 100ms to 300ms.

Does it matter? For short-term trading, absolutely. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that the setup is serious. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Put together that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Not many platforms in this bracket offer execution like this.

Regulation

This is the thing that requires honesty. Tab Trade is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.

That said. The founder came from BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is expensive. Scam brokers do not bother with proper execution infrastructure. This does not guarantee anything. It should be part of your assessment.

The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off works comes down to your priorities.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Usual welcome offer. You put money in, TabTrade add bonus funds. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before funding.
